What To Bring On A Disney Vacation

And I’m Joe Bennett.

JOE
Before you plan that vacation to the happiest place on earth, we’ve got some important tips to help you out.
NIKKI
Whether you’re going to Disney World or Disney Land, the advice we are giving is going to be worth your time.
JOE
And we’ve got the pictures to prove it. The first thing you need to know when packing for your big Disney vacation is to bring the proper attire. Your clothes say a lot about you.
NIKKI
Take this man for instance. Not only does he love Mickey Mouse, but he is also a proud American.
JOE
Or this guy. His shirt says, “Just because I’m at Disney World doesn’t mean I can’t try to pick up the ladies with this witty shirt.” I met my wife the same way.
NIKKI
And ladies, it will more than likely be hot out there, so be prepared. Wear something comfortable and light. And if your belly is full and it’s hot, just unbutton and let it all hang out.
JOE
I know that’s what I always do. As for footwear, we suggest loafers or crocs. But be sure to wear knee-high socks with both. I don’t know why, but it seems like the thing to do at Disney.
NIKKI
And if walking becomes to much work, just get the motorized scooter. And of course you want to be prepared for emergencies, so bring your cell phone and keep it close. Perfect.
JOE
If your neckline doesn’t work for you to hang your cell phone on, don’t worry. You were smart enough to bring along the all-important, never-leave-home-without-it fanny pack.
NIKKI
When I see a man with a fanny pack, I think to myself, “There’s a man who comes prepared.” And that’s sexy.
JOE
And when I see a woman with a fanny pack, I think, “She’s probably got peanut butter crackers in there.” (Nikki gives Joe an odd look) What? That’s just what I think.
NIKKI
In your fanny pack, carry your camera because you never know when you might run into some celebrities like Mickey Mouse or Barney Fife.
JOE
And athletes like David Wright from the Mets and Dwayne Wade from the Miami Heat love Disney World.
NIKKI
Finally the most important thing you should do before you leave for you Disney vacation is…
JOE
Get a Disney themed tattoo. If you really want to prove you love Walt and his beloved creatures then get Tigger or Tinker Bell tattooed immediately.
NIKKI
Joe, how is your Mickey Mouse tattoo coming along?
JOE
He’s almost finished. I just have to add an American Flag and we’re all set.
NIKKI
Now that you know all these tips, all you lack are the mouse ears.

It is really important to dress properly for Disney due to the extreme heat and humidity during certain months, and the rain and thunderstorms in other months. You should always dress comfortably and wear a good shoe that offers support and breathability.
