Should Hillary Clinton Concede to Barack Obama?

March 14th, 2008 Posted in Politics, Fridays with Falls

Jason Falls usually stays away from politics but he couldn’t resist talking about the heated race of the Democratic party. With Barack Obama taking a bigger lead, Jason asks us all… is it time for Hillary to resign? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.

why should she resign? the race is very close and although obama has a delegate lead at this time there are still delegates she can win. the race is close enough to go all the way to the convention and the superdelegates to decide who the candidate will be. she has too much to lose to stop now.

I am a clinton supporter that came to the same conclusion. Hillary simply can’t win without super delegates overturning the wishes of primary results (A result that the party leadership called unacceptable in irreparably damaging to the party). The race is over and at this juncture any points Hillary scores against Obama are points for John “100 year in Iraq” McCain. I am thankful for the Clintons, but it’s time for the party to Unite.

Hillary concede with Dignity! Obama make her your VP please!!!!

Yes, I also am pleading with Hillary to concede. She is tearing the party apart!

Her infighting does not look good.

Barack needs to proceed with Richardson VP.

Yes, all popular votes are strong for Obama.

The only way Hillary can succeed is to buy superdelegates that will go against the will of the majority. Is that what we want in our politicians?? I know Hillary would stoop to buying people, but do we want her and the people she can buy in control? And will the majority vote for her if she bought the nomination? NO!

Many honorable Democrats have called for an end to her attacks and that she peacefully support our next Democratic president, Obama.
And wouldn’t Richardson be a great VP?

A wise farmer in my locale painted on his barn “HILLARY STAY HOME”. It’s been that way for years & I support it.
